We preview your vacation rental listing before it is activated on the site.  It helps us maintain quality listings and improves reliability of information posted to iGOvacation.  When you have completed the property listing process, an email is sent to the owners of iGOvacation to preview and activate your listing.  Most listings are approved within a matter of hours, unless you are listing a property at 2 a.m., in which case, we will approve it in the morning!

Putting photos on our site is very simple!  During the listing process, one of the steps is to upload photos before submitting to the site.  If you do not have your photos at the time you create your listing, you will have the ability to upload them at any time. 

Our site accepts .jpeg and .gif formats.  Don't worry about resizing them, our site will automatically resize them for you.

The Virtual Tour is available through our Platinum Membership.  Once you purchase the Platinum Membership, our professional photographers will contact you directly within 48 hours and make arrangements to take the virtual tour and post it to our site. 

The Virtual Tour in the Platinum Membership includes up to 10 unique shots/tours.   Additionally, our professional photographer will take the 12 still photos to be posted to iGOvacaiton along with your Virtual Tour.  In most cases, your virtual tour will be posted to our site within 7 - 10 business days after placing the order. 

At this time, the Virtual Tour is available to all residents in the 48 contiguous states. 

Pay-Per-Click Advertising: Pay-Per-Click advertising enables iGOvacation to list our site at the top of the search engine results by purchasing targeted keywords a searcher would enter when searching for vacation rentals.  iGOvacation has purchased hundreds of targeted keywords on the major search engines to drive targeted traffic to our website looking for vacation rentals.

Google Ad Word, Content and Site Sponsorship: The Google Ad Word Sponsorship is similar to the Pay-Per-Click advertisements; however, our advertisements also appear on sites that vacation renters are searching daily.

Link Partnerships:  iGOvacation has formed link partnerships with other travel related websites to help drive traffic to our site.

Standard Multiples: The first and second listing are each $99.  Listing number 3 through 50 is $89 year for each property. 

Gold Multiples: The first and second listing are each $149.  Listing number 3 through 50 is $119 year for each property.

We want to reward the members that signed up with us when we were just getting our start.  As a result, the first to sign up will stay at the top of the search results.  As new properties are added to each city, they will be placed down the page in the order they are activated on the site.

To find a vacation rental, go to the home page.  From the home page, determine if you are searching for a domestic or international destination.  If the destination is domestic, you have three options:

• Roll your cursor over the state in which you are searching for a vacation rental and click.  This will bring up the listings in the state you disire to vacation in.
• To narrow your search, use the advanced search link on he left tool bar.  This feature allows you to search by amenitites, number of rooms, lodging type, beach proximity, and more.

Yes.  The advanced search feature allows you to narrow your search to specific criteria such as house, condominium, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, hot tub, wheel chair accessible, proximity to beach, and much more.

Payment methods may vary.  You can determine which method is preferred when you contact the owner regarding availability.  Some owners accept credit card via PayPal®.  These listings have the PayPal® logo icon at the bottom of their listing page after the description.

Please do not make a payment through PayPal until the owner or manager of the vacation rental property has confirmed your reservation request!

If the property owner/manager uses the availability calendar iGOvacation provides, you may click on the calendar icon on the listing you are interested in to see what dates are available.  Once you have determined that the property you are interested in is available, it is always a good idea to confirm the availability by contacting the owner.

Since iGOvacation does not own property you never rent property from iGOvacation.  When you find a property that you would like to rent, you make arrangements with the owner of that property directly.

1.  Make reservations early!  Planning ahead and booking your vacation rental early guarantees you maximum choice when it comes to getting the vacation rental that meets your needs.

2.  Get a lease or rental agreement!  Vacations cost money!  Do not let your vacation ride on a verbal committment.  Be sure to get everything in writing before you send any payments.

3.  Don't miss deadlines!  Do not ruin your vacation by missing a deposit deadline.  A lot of times, missing a deadline can result in a forfeiture of monies and a cancellation of your reservation.

4.  Know the Cancellation Policy!  Get a clear cancellation policy in writing.  Be prepared to sacrifice at least a portion of your deposit should you have to cancel.  Some owners/agents have a non-cancelable policy, in which you could lose your entire deposit.
