iGOvacation is the world’s premier vacation rental portal. We will serve vacation rental owners, vacation renters and their respective communities around the globe by making people our first priority and surpassing their expectations.

Our Vision:
We at iGOvacation strive to be the world’s one stop shop for vacation property owners, vacation property managers, and vacation renters. Our commitment to our customers and our community will lead us in our pursuit to maintain the highest standards in the industry, bar none.

How we got started:
We are Trish and Laurie of Chicago, Illinois. Having grown up in the coastal plains of North Carolina and always going back home to visit, we thought it would be a great idea to purchase a vacation condominium of our own so that we would have a place to stay while visiting.

In May of 2002, we purchased our first vacation rental condo in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Early on in our ownership, we discovered that our property manager was not bringing in as many renters as promised. In pursuit of increasing renter traffic, Laurie began surfing the Internet to find ways to get more traffic to come through our condominium. It was then that we realized three things:

• The best and most affordable way to maximize the traffic to our condo was on the Internet.
• There were really no great vacation rental web sites that really catered to our needs.
• If we felt that the vacation rental web business was lacking luster, in our finite experience, there must be thousands of others who have had the same experience.

That being said, we set out to develop a useful, technology centric, service driven vacation rental website – a site to surpass the needs of owners, property managers and renters alike. The result of this revelation was, as you may have guessed, iGOvacation.
